Grosse Ile Equestrian Club

The club offers horse-related educational and recreational opportunities for area residents of all ages, while increasing awareness of and participation in local equestrian programs.

We work in cooperation with the Grosse Ile Equestrian Center operator and the GI Recreation department in stewardship of the equestrian facilities at Centennial Farm.

GI Lacrosse facilitates the development and expansion of lacrosse Programs on Grosse Ile.

Programs begin at the middle school level, with varsity and junior varsity Teams fielded for competition in the metropolitan Detroit area.

Grosse Ile Rowing Club

Formed in 1989, Grosse Ile Rowings' objective is to promote and develop the sport of rowing on Grosse Ile. We provide financial and organizational support for the Grosse Ile High School Rowing Program. Our teams compete against Programs in Michigan, Ohio and Ontario with great success; many of our athletes have received scholarships to compete at the collegiate level.
