The Grosse Ile Historical Society sponsored a grand re-opening event and provided guided tours of the historic Grosse Ile Lighthouse on Sunday, Sept 20, 2009. Friends of the Lighthouse celebrated the most recent renovation on a beautiful late summer day. The project began May 22, 2009 and was completed July 24, 2009. (22 photos)
