Gregory Loselle is no ordinary person. He teaches language arts and art history at Grosse Ile High School. And, he is also a recognized,
short story author having recently taken first place honors in the prestigious Loriann Hemingway Short Story Competition, which is held annually as a salute to Ernest Hemingway. His short story, “Lazarus,” was chosen above 1,057 submissions and featured in the Saturday Evening Post.
Gregory Loselle is one of many making a difference at Grosse Ile High School.
It’s a fact that throughout the U.S. home buyers and renters,
with or without school age children, look to communities with
good schools. If you are looking for a new home, then you
have found one of the best locations in Michigan because
our schools are consistently rated among the top 10 in
the state.
More importantly, what is the value of this or any rating?
Well, for starters, schools of excellence, like Grosse Ile,
are more likely to deliver superior learning opportunities for
your children than those which are not as highly rated.
However, student test results and A+ school ratings are not
everything. Teachers, administrators, school board trustees,
parents and the public, as a whole, are equally important. On
graduation day and throughout life, it’s the active contribution
and on-going love of all those interested people who combine
to make the gift of quality that will serve our young people a
lifetime: an outstanding education.
